WWE actress Zelina Vega is the next Color Commentator for Street Fighter 6, and her voice will be known to combat fans. This newest Capcom/WWE cooperation was unveiled when Zelina Vega entered the Women’s Royal Rumble battle dressed as Juri.
Street Fighter 6 will have a slew of commentators, thanks to a Color Commentary feature that lets players select real-life celebrities to call their fights, with Tasty Steve and James Chen already announced. Thea Trinidad, better known as WWE star Zelina Vega, has been confirmed as the next commentator, with a new teaser showcasing her voice abilities as she calls a battle between Juri and Kimberly.

Zelina Vega has a history of dressing up as fighting game characters during WWE performances, most recently as Street Fighter’s Vega at the 2019 Royal Rumble. These clothes extend beyond Street Fighter, as she has also donned Mortal Kombat costumes during battles, including a Sindel suit for the 2020 Royal Rumble. Zelina Vega is a great gaming lover in real life and has previously cosplayed as Rayne from Bloodrayne, Jinx from League of Legends, Sombra from Overwatch, and Morrigan from Darkstalkers.
No one anticipated Zelina Vega to follow in the footsteps of Jerry the King Lawler and Jim Ross, but given her passion of gaming, she’s a logical match as a Color Commentator in Street Fighter 6. In professional fighting game matches, the commentary is more about energy and enthusiasm than knowing the names of moves, which is why Capcom created the new commentary feature in the first place, and why fans are so excited to see it included in the game, as it can give all matches the feel of competing in a real-life tournament.
