There are a few peculiar mechanics you may discover when playing Pokémon Go that aren’t fully explained to you. One mechanism involves an unseen object obstructing your path at a PokéStop, stopping you from acquiring supplies. Here’s everything you need to know about what to do when you encounter an invisible impediment at a PokéStop in Pokémon Go.
In Pokémon Go, why is there an invisible item on PokéStops?
If you find an unseen object on your PokéStop, it’s most likely a Kecleon. This Pokémon appears in the mobile game in this manner. When this occurs, you will be unable to collect the goods until Kecleon jumps from the PokéStop. You accomplish this by tapping on the PokéStop’s unseen location, causing it to appear in front of you and allowing you to catch this Pokémon.
Kecleon will not be completely imperceptible. However, it will be generally clear, so tapping on your screen shouldn’t be too difficult. You should only have to tap it a few times before it hops off the PokéStop, at which point you may capture it and get the things that were withheld from you at the PokéStop. Some players have claimed that this occurs after interacting with a Team Rocket PokéStop, however it can also occur at conventional PokéStops.
Only Kecleon has this mechanic at the PokéStops so far. We’re not sure if other Pokémon or things will block PokéStops in the future. For the time being, the same strategy applies only if Kecleon appears in Pokémon Go. It originally appeared immediately after Chespin’s Community Day ended.
