Fresh Season 2023 of Splatoon 3 is just around the horizon, and fans are excited for the new content upgrade. While plenty of new goods and weapons will be added to the game to shake up the game’s meta, the newest statement made by the Splatoon team has players buzzing. Manta Maria, a level featured in Splatoon 2, will be included in Splatoon 3.
Manta Maria is situated on a big sailboat with three masts and passageways that players frequently used to their benefit, whether attacking or defensively. The stage also had a lot of angles, which allowed players to creep up on foes or use cover to their advantage to flee a fight.
Fans are thrilled to see Manta Maria back, and they are even more relieved to see that the stage has remained comparatively untouched. Flounder Heights, one of the prior returning stages, got a lukewarm response. The vertical map in the initial game was much bigger, with various vantage spots and numerous inkable walls. However, when the stage was introduced to Splatoon 3, it was considerably scaled down and didn’t have as many inkable surfaces.
Manta Maria isn’t the only new level in this release for Splatoon 3. Um’ami Ruins, a fresh new stage, is also being introduced. The latter takes place in the desert at an ancient location encircled by cranes and temples. In addition, a new King Salmonid will be introduced through March’s Big Run, which will be a significant upgrade to the game’s Salmon Run. So supporters have a lot to look forward to when the new season starts in March.
