What exactly is the Pokémon Go Grim Omens event?
The developers do not explicitly mention Grim Omens as an event that occurs during the Primal Rumblings. However, it is still occurring. What happens is that Absol, known as the disaster Pokémon, appears right before a disaster occurs, which is supposed to be when Groudon and Kyogre appear. As a result, Absol will frequently show for a brief period of time during the day in your region.
The event works by increasing the spawn rate of Absol in your area from 12:00 PM to 12:05 PM. When Absol appears, you only have a limited amount of time to capture it before it vanishes. This will occur throughout the Primal Rumblings event, which runs from February 22 to February 24. These Absol instances will most likely be removed once the occasion concludes.
