Game Freak Swaps in Ponyta for regular horse as Pocket Card Jockey gallops to Apple Arcade

In the popular Pocket Monsters series, the creator has surely had some experience with horses, but Pocket Card Jockey takes the passion a step further by combining horse racing and solitaire. You’ll ride your horse around the track while clearing cards as quickly as can in order to win the race. It’s a basic maneuver that, when executed fast, will lift your horse’s spirits and allow them to gallop to victory.

The gameplay and mechanics will be comparable to the original release. According to the App Store, the Pocket Card Jockey adaptation will have all of the fundamental rules, while the racing features will be 3D.

Pocket Card Jockey’s Apple Arcade version will also have a new subtitle. Pocket Card Jockey: Ride On! will be the full title when it is released. Of course, this isn’t the first time the game has been made accessible on mobile devices – at least in Japan. In 2014, before it was released on the 3DS, it was available for both iOS and Android in Game Freak’s native country. That version, though, was shut down a year later in December.

Pokémon’s creators are launching a fresh new version eight years later. You may learn more about it on the Mac App Store before it is released. Pocket Card Jockey: Ride On! is coming to the iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, and Apple TV. Ride On! will need 563.9 MB of storage space to download, according to the App Store.

The game will be available on January 20th. It’s part of the weekly January releases on Apple Arcade, which also feature the latest installment of Pocket Gems’ storytelling game Episode XOXO and a new puzzler called Illustrated.
