In an age where digital media may perish with the blink of a director’s eye, I think it’s more than reasonable that some fans desire to own physical copies of their favorite media, including games. Fans of The Witcher 3 who want the game in tangible form for their PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X are in luck, because CD Projekt Red will release The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition in Europe and North America on January 26.
The basic game, as well as the previously published DLCs Blood and Wine and Heart of Stone, will be included in the Complete Edition. This version will also include the game’s latest next-gen update, which mostly focused on quality-of-life updates, as well as features such as a new quest, a picture mode, cross-platform progression, new clothes inspired by The Witcher’s Netflix series, and more.
Furthermore, we learned that CD Projekt Red is working on some enhancements to the game’s next-gen PC edition, which is in critical need of a patch due to performance concerns. These issues remained after the studio’s hotfix patch, and experts have warned that the game would require a more extensive rework in order to function more smoothly on the PC platform.
