A Nintendo Direct focused on the Super Mario Bros. Movie is scheduled for March

The excitement for The Super Mario Bros Movie is building, and fans can’t wait to see the world’s most renowned plumber and his pals for the first time on the big screen. To get fans excited for the premiere of The Super Mario Bros. movie, Nintendo has revealed a Nintendo Direct will take place on March 9 at 2:00 p.m. PT/5:00 p.m. ET/10 p.m. GMT. The Direct will premiere the film’s final trailer, which will most likely include some additional plot details and cameos from the ensemble. Nintendo has also confirmed that there will be no game reveals or news in this Direct.

Based on what we’ve seen thus far, it appears that The Super Mario Bros movie will be a film worthy of the legendary character, and fans can expect a plethora of references to the character’s history, including Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, and pretty much anything relating to the character’s almost 40-year legacy. The Super Mario Brothers film will hit cinemas on April 7.
